By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is unapologetically bright—lemon and bergamot delivered with the kind of intensity that evokes midday on a whitewashed terrace. There's no slow build here; the citrus arrives fully formed and stays close to the skin with surprising tenacity for something so ostensibly fresh.
As it settles, jasmine and rose appear but remain understated, more texture than full-blown florals. The bamboo note adds a green, almost aqueous quality that keeps the composition from tipping into sweetness. By the drydown, sandalwood and amber provide just enough warmth to ground the brighter elements without overwhelming them. Iso E Super lends a clean, woody haze throughout.
This is Light Blue reimagined with sharper edges and less sugar—still Mediterranean in spirit, but less concerned with universal appeal. It wears easily in heat and suits those who prefer their citrus fragrances to have some backbone.
