By the editors · 2 min read24 Faubourg opens with a sunlit surge of orange and peach that feels both juicy and polished, softened by ylang-ylang's creamy richness. It's immediately bright but not sharp, more like warm citrus through gauze than raw fruit. As it settles, a lush floral heart emerges—gardenia and jasmine lean into orange blossom, creating a heady, almost tropical density that never quite tips into heaviness. The iris adds a subtle powderiness that keeps things refined.

The dry down reveals its true character: a golden, ambered base where sandalwood and vanilla blend into something honeyed and slightly resinous. There's patchouli in the background, grounding the sweetness without going earthy. The overall effect is opulent but wearable, a white floral with enough warmth and structure to feel substantial rather than ethereal. It suits someone who wants presence without aggression—luxurious in the way good leather goods are luxurious, not loud but unmistakably expensive.
