By the editors · 2 min readBitter orange and bergamot open with warm citrus brightness — the bitter orange slightly sharp, bergamot sweet and lifted, both fading as the composition's warmer character takes over. Cinnamon arrives in the heart as the primary spice, sweet and aromatic; immortelle — helichrysum, with its distinctive maple-honey-hay quality — adds the characteristic warmth that defines Lolita Lempicka's oriental work. Musk threads through, keeping the heart open and accessible.

Vanilla, tonka bean, and sandalwood close in a rich oriental base — the vanilla creamy and forward, tonka sweet, sandalwood providing soft woody structure. A well-made accessible oriental by Maurice Roucel that delivers its warmth with clarity and without unnecessary complexity.
