By the editors · 2 min readLe Cri de la Lumière — the cry of light — reads more like a quiet declaration than anything dramatic. Raspberry and bergamot open with brief, clean tartness that doesn't linger; they exist to introduce, then step aside. Iris arrives fully formed: cool, rooty, powdery in its purest register, carrying the composition through its main arc without ornament.
Patchouli at the base is measured — present enough to prevent iris from floating free, not so pronounced as to pull the fragrance earthy. Musk holds the iris close to the skin in the final hours. The result is an abstract, deliberately spare composition — minimal without being cold. It rewards wearers willing to sit with a single idea rather than follow a conventional narrative.
