By the editors · 2 min readHalfeti opens with a metallic edge—saffron and cardamom create a dry, almost medicinal brightness that's quickly softened by grapefruit. The effect is both warm and sharp, like sun-heated stone in a spice market. Within minutes, rose emerges, but not the dewy kind: here it's darker, tinged with leather and nutmeg, as if pressed between aged book pages.

The drydown settles into a smooth, amber-laced base where tonka and sandalwood provide structure without sweetness. There's vanilla present, but it stays muted, never veering into dessert territory. The leather note threads through quietly, giving the composition a subtle animalic warmth.

This is a rose fragrance for those who find most rose fragrances too polite. It wears close to the skin, feels more night than day, and suits anyone drawn to spiced florals with a slightly shadowed edge. Unisex in the truest sense.
