By the editors · 2 min readPenhaligon's Orange Blossom opens with unusual tension: violet leaf's cool, waxy edge meets neroli's sunlit freshness, with pink pepper introducing a light, almost fizzing spice. Bergamot ties the opening together without insisting on dominance — precise, composed, resisting the obvious sweetness the name might suggest.

The heart is where the perfume earns its title. Tuberose and jasmine arrive in full bloom, heady and slightly narcotic, while a note of orange keeps the composition just clear of heaviness. Rose adds depth without muscling its way in. This is classic British florals — unhurried, even-tempered, never frantic.

The base of sandalwood, cedar, and musk holds everything at a polite distance, settling into skin as a sheer, luminous warmth. Best suited to warm weather, this is a white floral built for confidence rather than provocation.
