By the editors · 2 min readSaffron opens with a dry, papery spice that immediately stains the leather beneath it a deep ochre. The heart is absent on paper, so the saffron rides straight into amberwood, a synthetic accord that amplifies the hide’s sweet, resinous warmth while adding a clean, almost ink-like wood facet. Labdanum blooms late, stretching the leather into a soft, balsamic sheet that clings to skin like the inside of a well-worn driving glove. There is no smoke or oud here, only the suggestion of both built into the amberwood’s shadow. Projection stays within arm’s length for six hours, then collapses to a private, suede-tinged skin scent. Cool fall days and business travel suit its quiet confidence best.
