The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 12 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readIris opens cool and mineral, dusting the early wear with a grey, rooty powder that immediately sets a restrained tone. Leather and tobacco arrive together, the leather carrying a matte, slightly sour hide facet while the tobacco supplies a dry, blond leaf sweetness; both ride over the iris’s powder rather than displacing it. Mid-stage jasmine adds a quiet white floral lift, rose gives a faint crimson accent, and the accord stays angular rather than lush. The base trades smoke for sugar: frankincense smolders thin, church-cold tendrils that tether the composition, yet a realistic, slightly green strawberry pulp softens the ashes and keeps the skin impression surprisingly sheer. Projection stays within arm’s length for six hours, then collapses to a powdered-leather skin tint that survives washing.
