By the editors · 2 min readA cologne built almost entirely around Calabrian bergamot, with grapefruit doubling the citrus on both ends. The opening is bright and slightly bitter; in the heart, orange rounds out the citrus while galbanum drops in a thread of sharp, unripe-bell-pepper green that keeps the whole thing from getting sweet.
The base is unusual for a citrus: vetiver gives an earthy, root-bound warmth, and a touch of fennel adds a quiet anise lift that keeps the dry-down green rather than musky. It wears as a more aromatic, more grown-up cousin of the standard summer-citrus formula — drier, longer-lasting, less innocent.
