By the editors · 2 min readA heavier, more shadowed take on the house cologne. Bergamot opens cleanly but doesn't dominate — the composition pivots quickly into a green-floral heart of jasmine and ylang-ylang threaded through cedar and vetiver, which gives it a damp, woody undertow that older Italian colognes rarely carry.
The base is where the 'assoluta' part earns its name: oakmoss and patchouli pull the whole thing into chypre territory, with white musk smoothing the edges. It wears longer and darker than a citrus cologne, with the slightly mineral character of forest floor under sun — closer to a cologne grown into a daytime chypre than a true freshness.
