By the editors · 2 min readIncense dominates from the first breath, dry and resinous, carving vertical lines through the composition. Vetiver enters early, its grassy bitterness pulling the smoke downward while amber quietly thickens the heart, turning the accord matte instead of sharp. Oakmoss spreads underneath like cool forest floor, damping the incense embers and giving the smoke a damp-earth weight that clings to skin. Patchouli arrives last, chocolate-dark and slightly camphorous, braiding with the remaining incense to create a tarryained-wood finish that refuses sweetness. Projection stays within arm’s length for eight hours, casting a subdued grey veil perfect for cool autumn evenings or quiet workspaces where introspection is welcome.
