By the editors · 2 min readWith no top notes the composition opens directly in the heart. Jasmine and rose lead together — the jasmine creamy and slightly indolic, the rose pink and soft rather than jammy. Despite the name's promise of mandarin and orchid, the actual structure reads as a simple jasmine-rose pairing.
The middle is brief because there's no real evolution to track. The two florals carry the composition forward without much development, staying pretty and unaccented through the heart phase.
Sandalwood and musk close things out warm and skin-close — sandalwood creamy, musk smoothing the finish. Overall the character is a soft, uncomplicated rose-jasmine floral with a quiet woody-musky landing, suited to daily wear in spring or fall. Projection stays modest and the composition reads as approachable rather than memorable.
