By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens briefly, doing the lift work before the composition shifts to its powdery centre. The citrus reads more like a courtesy than a feature.
Orris and rose form the heart together — the orris cool, slightly carroty and metallic, the rose softened into something dustier and quieter than usual. The pairing is the distinctive part of the wear: an iris-rose powder that holds without going saccharine.
Tonka, vanilla, cedar and musk settle the base into a soft almond-vanilla close, the cedar giving a dry-woody spine that keeps the sweetness from spilling over. Overall character is a powdery iris-rose with a sweet-creamy drydown — daytime, restrained, cooler weather.
