By the editors · 2 min readSaffron opens directly with its characteristic dry, slightly metallic warmth, carrying a subtle earthy richness from the first moment. There is no citrus or green introduction — this goes straight to the dense, resinous territory the note suggests.
Amber and ambergris build the base into something genuinely enveloping, warm and slightly animalic. Musk keeps it from feeling too static, adding a skin-close softness beneath the resin. With only three listed notes the composition reads as intentionally minimal — a bold amber-saffron statement rather than a layered narrative. Projection is moderate; longevity should be solid given the resinous base materials.
