The heart twists slightly: mint cools the lavender further while jasmine and orange blossom keep the floral side from going feminine-soft. It stays lifted and herbal-fresh through the middle hours, never tipping into syrupy.
The dry-down is what distinguishes it from a generic fougère — guaiac wood smoke and tobacco's dry sweetness fold into musk, giving the perfume a darker, more contemplative finish than the airy opening predicted. A well-shaped office-to-evening transition piece.
