By the editors · 2 min readIris Violet opens with a crisp apple-bergamot brightness that quickly gives way to its powdered floral core. The iris here is soft and cosmetic rather than rooty or bitter, blending with jasmine and rose into a clean, nearly soapy bouquet. There's a vintage quality to the construction, reminiscent of mid-century face powders and talc, though sweetened by the fruit above.

As it settles, benzoin and vanilla create a gentle cushion beneath the florals, while cashmeran adds a quiet, almost woody-musky haze. The frankincense and patchouli remain subtle, contributing texture rather than dominance. Cedar and white musk ensure the composition stays airy despite the sweetness.

This is polite, prettily assembled fragrance for someone who wants iris without austerity. It leans feminine and accessible, more boudoir vanity than avant-garde, with enough sweetness to appeal beyond strict iris devotees. Wears close and clean throughout the day.
