Alexandre.J
Architect of materials and the senses
Alexandre.J is a Paris-based niche house founded by Alexandre Jacques, designed around heavily ornamented bottles and densely composed orientals. The line leans into amber, oud, leather and gourmand accords, with the Collector and Morning Muscs ranges sitting at the centre of the catalogue. The house's identity is as much sculptural as olfactory — the cast-relief flacons, often gilded or hand-painted, are a key part of its retail presence in Middle Eastern and Asian markets. Compositions are signed by working noses including Dominique Ropion and Bertrand Duchaufour, with Jacques credited as creative director rather than perfumer.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
