The heart is one of Amouage's most ambitious: five white floral and tropical notes (tuberose, jasmine, lily, ylang-ylang, orange blossom) stacked into a dense, complex accord that is simultaneously heady and structured, each note contributing its distinct quality without losing overall coherence.
The base grounds everything in papyrus and iris alongside incense and frankincense — earthy, smoky, slightly resinous — creating a drydown as interesting as the opening. This is serious perfumery, full-bodied and unhurried.
