By the editors · 2 min readRum and orange open with a boozy-citrus flash that quickly warms into a heart where Bulgarian rose adds jammy depth while iris powders the florals, creating a velvety-sweet rose accord. Jasmine and osmanthus extend the floral layer, but the rose-iris axis dominates, turning slightly medicinal as incense pushes forward. The base folds that rose into tarry leather, smoky vetiver and dry cedar, letting patchouli supply earthy sweetness while amber blankets the woods and musk softens projection. After two hours it settles into a dark, leathery rose-incense skin scent that radiates roughly arm-length for six to eight hours, fitting cool autumn nights and smart-casual dinners where a quiet statement is enough.
