By the editors · 2 min readGold Prime opens with apple and freesia — a light fruity brightness that doesn't linger long. The heart moves quickly into jasmine, violet, heliotrope, and rose, a full floral center that leans powdery and slightly retro in character.
Sandalwood and incense ground the middle, adding depth without obscuring the florals. Labdanum pulls the drydown toward something subtly resinous and ambery, the powdery floral quality persisting into the base.
The incense note gives this an edge of seriousness that prevents it from reading as purely generic. A classic-leaning floral with a slightly smoky-amber base, suited for formal or evening contexts.
