Jasmine and rose open together, fairly traditional and slightly heady, with no real fresh top to lift them — the composition lands floral from the first minute and stays there.

The heart pivots: sandalwood creamy underneath, saffron dry and slightly medicinal, tobacco sweet and pipe-leaning, patchouli dark and earthy. This four-way pairing is the signature — the saffron-tobacco-patchouli braid pulls the rose-jasmine toward something resinous and a little dusty.
Amber, cedar, and musk form the base, warm and dry, with cedar adding a pencil-shaving edge that keeps the amber from going syrupy. Overall character: a saffron-tobacco rose over warm dry wood, slightly masculine-leaning, slightly old-school. Moderate projection, long resin-tobacco close.
