By the editors · 2 min readMint and caramel open in unusual contrast, a cool peppermint snap layered over melted-sugar warmth. The pairing is jarring at first and then settles into something like a chocolate-mint pastry.
Leather rises through the heart, softened immediately by vanilla and rose into a dressed-up, almost lipstick-like accord. The leather here is creamy rather than rough, more handbag interior than tannery.
White musk, cinnamon and ambergris build the base, the cinnamon giving a recognisable warm-spicy lift while the musk smooths the rest into a clean drydown. The overall character is a sweet leathery oriental with confectionery edges, distinctive at moderate range and best in cool air.
