By the editors · 2 min readCraze opens with cumin — warm, slightly sweaty, body-close — alongside heliotrope's powdery almond quality and bergamot's clean citrus. The cumin dominates and gives the opening a distinctive, slightly animalic quality that either works immediately or doesn't.
Lavender, sage, and jasmine in the heart bring the composition back toward familiarity — a clean aromatic floral that's almost conventional against the cumin opening, the herbs providing balance and cooling what the cumin heated. Sandalwood, amber, and vanilla in the base close out in a warm, creamy direction. An ambitious opening note structure for an Armaf release; the result is a fragrance with more personality than most of the house's catalog.
