By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is recognizably fruity-bright — pineapple with a cardamom edge and a bergamot lift — that anyone who has spent time around designer masculines will read as familiar territory. A small jasmine heart keeps it from going purely tropical.
Where it diverges is the dry-down: tonka and amber pull the composition warmer and sweeter than a true Aventus-shape, and a thread of tuberose in the build adds an unexpected creamy floral. Cedar holds the structure together without going dry.
The overall shape is a fruity-woody amber with gourmand leanings, more party-coded than office-coded, and projects with conviction in the first two hours before settling close.
