By the editors · 2 min readLavender, cumin, cardamom and bergamot open at once, and the cumin pushes the opening immediately into warm, slightly skin-musk territory. The citrus and lavender behave more like framing than highlights.
The heart doubles down on cumin and adds cinnamon, jasmine, nutmeg and a touch of violet powder. Rose threads through but stays restrained. The accumulation is heavy and a little sweaty in the way cumin compositions usually become.
Leather, oud, sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and amber close out the base with weight and animal warmth. The leather and oud lend a smoky, slightly dirty undertone, and the woods keep it dry rather than syrupy. Overall the arc is a dense oriental-spice fougère with strong animalic intent.
