By the editors · 2 min readSignature Night opens already in its heart — leather over violet leaf, with iris adding a cool-powdery thread. There's no fresh top stage; the perfume starts close to the skin and reads serious from the first second.
The leather is supple rather than tarry, more suede than biker jacket, and the iris keeps it from going sweet. The violet leaf adds a green-metallic edge that sharpens the composition without lightening it.
The base is where it deepens — guaiac wood and benzoin building a smoky-resinous floor under tonka and sandalwood. The drydown carries a faint sweetness from the tonka, kept in check by the wood smoke underneath. Longevity is generous; sillage stays close after the first hour. Best in cold weather and dim light, evening or formal, where a quieter, more interior scent holds its ground.
