By the editors · 2 min readA warm citrus opening — orange and bergamot together — but the brightness is brief because leather muscles in almost immediately. The leather is rough and aromatic, paired with rosemary that gives it an herbal, slightly camphoraceous twist.
The heart-to-base transition is where the character locks in: oakmoss arrives heavy and damp, ambergris adds a salty animalic warmth, and patchouli grounds everything with its earthy darkness. This is a classic mossy-leather construction in compact form.
Musk smooths the edges in the drydown. Overall the impression is of a dry, masculine chypre-leather profile — old-fashioned in shape, suited to cool weather and tailored clothing rather than casual contexts.
