By the editors · 2 min readInstinct Forbidden takes the Instinct line in a fruitier, more playful direction. Lemon peel in the top is sharp and brief — citrus skin rather than pulp — before the composition pivots quickly to a berry-floral heart. Red berries and violet create a cheerful, slightly edgy pairing; gardenia adds a white floral presence that rounds the contrast without softening it into a conventional bouquet. Tahitian vanilla at the base is soft and tropical in character, less intensely sweet than Madagascar varieties, giving the dry-down a lightly creamy finish that avoids full gourmand territory. Compact, crowd-friendly, and well-suited to warmer months.
