By the editors · 2 min readSurreal Magic opens with almond blossom and bergamot alongside NaturalCalm — a Givaudan proprietary compound intended to evoke a settling, stress-diffusing quality. The effect is a soft, slightly milky opening with a clean citrus edge that feels intentionally gentle.
The heart is a full white floral — jasmine sambac, tuberose, and ylang-ylang together. These three lean rich on other wrists, but here they're calibrated to the lighter side, the ylang and jasmine particularly smooth rather than animalic. The tuberose adds creaminess without the rubbery edge it can carry elsewhere.
Sandalwood, amber, and vanilla in the base add warmth and longevity, pulling the florals toward a smooth, close-to-skin finish. A comfort-oriented fragrance well-suited to evenings and cooler months.
