By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens briefly before lavender takes over, sliding straight into a cardamom-and-nutmeg heart that warms the aromatic top without spicing it heavily. The transition is fast and the citrus barely lingers.
The middle settles into a smooth lavender-spice braid, with cardamom giving a powdery sweetness and nutmeg adding a darker edge. There is no floral and no fruit — the structure is clean and linear, in the modern fougère mode.
Tonka, sandalwood, vetiver, cedar and musk form the base. Tonka picks up the lavender's sweetness, vetiver and cedar pin it to the ground, and the musk keeps everything close to skin. Overall the character is a quiet, soft fougère — well-mannered, undemanding, easy daily wear.
