By the editors · 2 min readLily opens the heart with a cool, green-white floral note above a bed of amber and patchouli that gives warmth and a slight earthiness. There are no top notes, so the fragrance arrives already in mid-development — present and settled.
The base is dominated by labdanum, benzoin, and tonka bean, which together build a rich balsamic sweetness. Vanilla adds depth without becoming dessert-like. The tonka in particular brings an almond-adjacent warmth that softens the labdanum's resinous edge.
The overall character is a warm oriental: amber-dominant, slightly smoky from the labdanum, and laced with a persistent vanilla-balsamic sweetness in the dry-down. Dense and close-wearing, best suited to cool evenings.
