By the editors · 2 min readAmbrox opens with a clean, mineral brightness that sharpens the medicinal bite of oud in the heart. Lily of the valley adds a watery green lift, preventing the resinous amber from sagging while sandalwood steers the base toward creamy wood. Frankincense and benzoin smolder softly beneath, releasing a translucent incense veil that keeps the praline from turning overtly gourmand; instead, the nutty sweetness reads as toasted almond skin dusted with musk. Over three hours, the accord dries to a supple, skin-close amber-wood ribbon where musk dominates and the earlier oud snap relaxes into a mellow, slightly salty wood. Projection stays conversational, best for cool spring evenings or layered under a light scarf in early fall.
