Tonka, labdanum, benzoin, vanilla, and styrax pile into a warm, resinous accord; sandalwood and vetiver add woody structure; oud and patchouli contribute earthier, darker texture. The cumulative effect is a rich amber-balsamic foundation that develops slowly and rewards patience.
This is a warm-weather-resistant oriental with significant depth. The sweetness from tonka and vanilla is kept in check by vetiver's dryness. Longevity and projection should be generous given the density of base materials.
