By the editors · 2 min readLemon and bergamot open with a bright citrus lift, cardamom threading through to give it spiced warmth from the first moments. The opening is familiar without being dull, the spice keeping the citrus from reading as purely functional.
Jasmine, rose, violet, and lily gather in the heart into a classic floral accord. Violet gives the arrangement its distinctive powdery-cool quality, preventing the jasmine from becoming cloying. The overall floral phase is lush but structured.
Oakmoss and benzoin in the base push the composition toward a slightly earthy, resinous drydown. Amber and sandalwood add warmth beneath. The mossy-balsamic finish recalls an older style of floral construction, balanced and unhurried.
