By the editors · 2 min readOsmanthus absolute opens the composition with its signature apricot-leather facet, here brightened by bergamot's citric sparkle and orange blossom's clean solar lift. The heart folds velvety tuberose creaminess around ripe peach lactones, while violet ionones cool the white floral cream and extend the osmanthus suede through the mid-stage. Sandalwood in the base steers the suede toward blond wood, labdanum resin thickens the apricot into a honeyed amber glow, and clean white musk sheers everything out so the scent hovers just above skin. Projection stays polite for the first three hours, then collapses into a soft woody-musk veil that still carries a ghost of osmanthus leather. Office-friendly across spring and fall, it reads as a sheer apricot-skin veil rather than statement perfume.
