By the editors · 2 min readPink pepper crackles at the opening, scattering sharp rosiness across the skin. Gardenia, ylang-ylang and orange blossom fuse into a creamy white-floral heart whose banana-like ylang edge fattens the gardenia’s waxy petals while orange blossom injects a clean honeyed glow. As the bouquet settles, amber blankets it with a warm resinous cushion, vanilla sweetens the amber without turning dessert-like, and patchouli supplies a faintly earthy cocoa dust that keeps the base from sugaring off. The result is a velvety white floral that radiates two-foot sillage for six hours before folding into a soft amber-vanilla skin haze. Cool fall evenings, smart-casual dinners or theater seats let the bloom glow without cloying.
