By the editors · 2 min readA cognac-soaked indulgence that opens with a sharp, almost medicinal bite of oak and alcohol vapor before settling into something warmer and more digestible. The cinnamon here is the dry kind, dusty rather than sweet, tempering what could easily become cloying. Tonka bean anchors the heart with its characteristic almond-like richness.
As it develops, praline and vanilla push forward without crossing into full dessert territory—there's enough wood and spirit in the base to maintain structure. The sandalwood reads creamy rather than austere, blending into the vanilla until they're nearly indistinguishable. What emerges is amber-hued and unapologetically sweet, but drier than many gourmands.
Best suited to those who appreciate boozy warmth and can wear heavy sweetness without flinching. It fills a room quickly and lingers for hours, the kind of scent that announces your presence before you do.
