Pearl Oud
Black pepper and saffron crack open with a dry, leathery snap, saffron's iodine-and-suede facet leading immediately rather than waiting for the drydown.

Weighted by intensity across 11 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

Ylang-ylang brings a creamy, slightly banana-tinged warmth into the centre, with iris adding a chilled rooty greyness and rose smoothing the seam between the two. Castoreum waits underneath, contributing a smoky, almost tarry animalic depth that keeps the florals from feeling polite.
The overall character sits between leather chypre and powdered floral, more shadowed than sweet. It projects steadily for several hours before drying down to a warm, slightly hide-like skin scent that holds through an evening without fading completely.
