By the editors · 2 min readYes I Am Pink First opens with pear and raspberry — a light, tangy fruitiness that feels genuinely contemporary rather than nostalgic. Jasmine and orange blossom in the heart are clean and white, adding floral substance without weighing down the brightness from the top.
Sandalwood, ambroxan, and cardamom in the base are the smart choices: ambroxan adds a skin-like warmth and projection boost, cardamom introduces a subtle spiced depth, sandalwood provides the woody foundation. The combination creates a drydown that's noticeably more interesting than the opening suggests. Cacharel has made a well-constructed everyday fragrance — accessible entry point, good longevity, and a base that rewards extended wear.
