The heart is a clean white-floral trio: neroli, jasmine, and lily of the valley, all rendered in their cologne register rather than their indolic one. Ginger threads a faint warm spice through the base while iris and musk hold the drydown together — the iris doing soft, slightly powdery work, the musk keeping it clean.
It reads as a daytime perfume for warm weather, casual rather than dressy, and stays close to skin after the first hour. The basil-and-bamboo opening is what makes it more interesting than its franchise siblings.
