By the editors · 2 min readA creamier, sweeter take on the original Truth's bamboo-and-tea austerity. Bergamot and bamboo at the top still read translucent, but they sit on a fuller body now.
A single rose carries the heart, soft rather than sharp, and it connects directly to a sandalwood-and-amber base that warms the whole composition. The bamboo accent — green and slightly milky — keeps the rose from going traditional powder-puff.
It suits cooler weather better than warm, casual rather than dressy. Projection is moderate at best; this is a perfume you wear for yourself, where the cream-and-wood drydown does most of the actual work and the opening just sets the scene.
