By the editors · 2 min readA dry-oud and gourmand crossover. Cypriol and oud open smoky and earthy, coffee adding a roasted-bitter edge — the top reads tarry and resinous before any sweetness lands.
Tonka takes the heart almost alone: vanillic, hay-warm, coumarin-rich. The shift from smoke to sugar is fast and obvious, with no transitional floral.
Saffron and sandalwood close the drydown leathery-creamy, benzoin smoothing the edges. Concentrated and persistent — pitched at the boozy-tobacco-tonka register, more late-evening than office wear.
