By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens with a brief citrus shimmer before the leather takes over. Saffron joins almost immediately, lending a warm leathery-spicy texture that sits closer to suede than to raw hide.
The heart is essentially leather and saffron held together — there's no floral or fresh distraction, just the slow opening of a leather-spice accord supported by the cardamom thread from the general notes. The fragrance reads serious and grown-up from the first breath.
Amber, cedar, and benzoin warm the base, softening the leather without sweetening it. Musk pulls the drydown close to the skin. The result is a focused leather-amber composition with smoky and slightly animalic edges, lasting long and projecting modestly — winter formal territory.
