By the editors · 2 min readBlack pepper and cardamom sit forward in the opening, with bergamot lifting them just enough to keep the entry from feeling too dense. The pepper gives a dry crackle, cardamom rounding it into something more aromatic than sharp.
With no declared heart, the pyramid moves directly toward its base, which carries the bulk of the wear. Tonka bean lends a soft hay-and-almond warmth, sweetened gently and rounded out.
Cedar tightens the close with a clean dry-wood rasp, keeping the tonka from going too plush. Overall character is a warm-spicy woody with a quietly gourmand undertow — modest projection, comfortable and reasonably linear once the spices subside, more cool-weather than warm.
