By the editors · 2 min readFrankincense opens the scent with a resinous, slightly smoky quality — cool and dry rather than churchy. Oud and magnolia meet in the heart, the floral softening what could otherwise be a very austere composition, though the oud's woody darkness holds ground.
Praline and suede in the base add an unexpected softness, lending a faintly sweet, skin-like quality to what began as quite austere. Patchouli and musk deepen the base without adding density. Frankincense reappears as a base note, reinforcing the balsamic thread.
The result balances dark resinous material against a suede-gourmand softness. It wears close with steady projection and suits cooler seasons in evening or relaxed formal contexts.
