By the editors · 2 min readCardamom and bergamot open with a soft spiced-citrus pairing. There is no obvious cherry signal at the top despite the name; the opening is conventional aromatic-citrus.
Galbanum and rose build the heart with a sharp green-floral pairing — galbanum bitter and stemmy, rose holding its old-world floral weight. The transition pulls the composition into chypre territory, with the green note adding bite to the rose. Tuberose in the broader frame contributes a creamy white-floral undertow.
Labdanum and amber close the arc with a balsamic-resinous base that warms the chypre structure into something rounder. The dry-down reads as a polished chypre with a subtle leathery undertone, projecting moderately. The cherry of the name remains conceptual.
