By the editors · 2 min readCrisp apple and pink pepper open with a snap, bergamot threading through to keep the entry tart rather than sweet. The pepper gives the apple a slight edge, like fruit on the cusp of turning.
There's no declared middle, so the composition slides quickly into the woody base. Sandalwood and guaiac wood take over, the guaiac adding a faintly smoky dryness against sandalwood's cream.
Ambroxan finishes it off with that radiant, almost saline glow it brings, pushing the wood into something more diffusive than carved. Overall it reads as a clean modern fruity-woody — easy to wear, projects a step beyond skin, and lasts through a working day without dominating the room.
