By the editors · 2 min readA bright, complex opening — cumin, lime, grapefruit, cardamom, nutmeg — sets a spiced-citrus character with cumin's faintly sweaty edge providing the most unusual note. Lime and grapefruit add citrus lift; cardamom and nutmeg contribute warm spice depth.
Jasmine, ylang-ylang, heliotrope, lily of the valley, iris, and rose form a dense layered heart. The white florals dominate, with heliotrope adding almondy-powdery softness, iris cool root depth, and the others providing familiar floral structure.
Tonka bean, sandalwood, vetiver, amber, cedar, and musk close. The drydown is warm, woody, slightly powdery, with significant base complexity. Overall a classical spiced-floral oriental on grand scale. Cooler weather suits it; sillage is strong.
