By the editors · 2 min readApricot opens juicy and lactonic, the fruit pulpy and slightly creamy rather than tart. Vanilla arrives almost immediately, intertwined with the apricot through the heart and base — there is little distance between the layers, the composition reading as a single sustained accord.
The vanilla is custardy, slightly buttery, with the apricot's coconut-adjacent lactonic facet amplified by the creamy sweetness. There is no spice or wood to interrupt the pairing — the perfume commits fully to the gourmand-fruity register. The drydown holds the apricot-vanilla custard accord essentially unchanged for hours, slowly softening into a sweet skin-scent. Comforting, dessert-like, unsubtle. A nostalgic profile rather than a sophisticated one.
