By the editors · 2 min readA simple top of bergamot before the perfume's chypre architecture asserts itself. The heart is rose-driven — Bulgarian and may rose, jasmine providing white-floral lift — though never falling into pure floral territory. There's always a green-mossy shadow underneath.
The base is the chypre classic: oakmoss, patchouli, sandalwood. Earth-and-wood, a perfume that smells like late afternoon in a forest more than a flower shop. Reads grown-up and slightly old-fashioned, in the way good chypres do. Suited to fall and casual-formal wear — when restraint is the point.
